If you are attempting to register as a Company linked to an Institution account, you may encounter an error stating your email address is already associated with an account. This guide ensures you can resolve this conflict quickly to begin managing your recruitment space.
Why is this happening?
At JobTeaser, a single email address can only be linked to one account at a time. This error typically occurs because you already have an existing "Free Plan" Company account.
To proceed, please follow one of the three professional solutions below.
❓How to resolve the email conflict
Solution 1: Use a secondary professional email
The most efficient way to gain immediate access is to register your new Company linked to an Institution profile using a different professional email address.
Solution 2: Update the email on your existing account
If you prefer to use your primary professional email for your new account, you must first "release" it from your current profile:
Log in to your existing "Free Plan" Company account.
Navigate to your Account Settings.
Change the registered email address to a secondary or personal one.
Log out of the platform.
Proceed to create your new account using your primary professional email.
Solution 3: Delete your existing "Free Plan" account
If you no longer require access to your previous postings or data:
Log in to the existing account.
Navigate to your profile settings and select Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion to immediately free up your email address for new registration.
⚠️ Warning: Deleting your account will permanently archive all active job postings and historical candidate data associated with that profile.
